Shyala Smith is an author and screenwriter working in marketing. She centres her stories around the themes of navigating immigrant life. She is a Fulbright Professional Scholar from Loyola University Maryland, USA, holding an MBA from the University of West London and an MA in Screenwriting from Raindance Film School.
Born and raised in Colombo, Sri Lanka, Shyala and her family currently reside in London, UK.
